The mixture helps protect our bodies defense mechanism and fight off any pathogens. Many of these pungent/astringent herbs contain antimicrobial and antiviral properties and help scrape/burn away the mucus and congestion that has build up within our system. The sweet taste of the honey takes away the initial sharpness of the raw garlic (when soaked for about 2 wks) and acts as a perfect vessel to bring all ingredients deeper into our tissues. ๐ง๐ฟ๐ช
Immunity Booster recipe:
Use a clean and dry jar and mix in the following organic ingredients:
- Garlic: use 1 big knobs of garlic, remove the skin and cut it tiny pieces.
- Rosemary & thyme: take some leaves from the plant, bruise them & add to the jar.
- Honey: add as much honey so that all ingredients are fully covered.
- Lemon: squeeze in the juice of half a lemon.
- Tumeric & ginger powder: add a full tbsp of each and mix everything thoroughly. Store for 2 wks before using.
Important: store somewhere dark & use a clean tsp each time you use the booster so the jar does not get rancid.
